12 SKY SAILOR March-April-May | AUTUMN 2025 Corryong Cup Hang Gliding Competition 2025 storms in order to get everyone on the ground before the gust front arrived. The day was invalid and not scored. Last day, Task 5, had a similar forecast to the previous day and we decided to forgo the morning briefing in town and instead hold it up on launch at 10am. Tasks were set to Mt Elliot > Thowgla > Cudgewa North > Cudgewa > Corryong for 58km and Mt Elliot > Kangaroo Creek > Colac Colac > Corryong for 21km. The day really turned on and it turned out to be our best day for the week! We had 39 pilots in goal and lots of happy faces, including Hayden, a new low hour pilot, making his first goal. Yay, again! The rain held off until later that evening at the presentation BBQ. Our thanks to the Corryong Rotary Club for the catering.
