Teewah has sandy tracks, no streetlights or powerlines and is minus the crowds that visitors will see in nearby Noosa. Visit Teewah Beach Escapes for more details. Photos: Tex Bec If you want to be closer to the flying site and you don’t mind roughing it, there are camping options in the Cooloola Recre- ation Area of Great Sandy National Park. Teewah Beach camping area Zone 1 is on a remote stretch of beach about 1.1km long with many open camp sites on offer. Visit the National Parks website for more information. If you are looking for more up-market or luxurious accommodation during your visit, nearby Noosa has a range of hotels, resorts and holiday homes that are easily found with a Google search.
