We set out without hard expectations of going past Fremantle, only agreeing to commit to the crossing once we were both satisfied with the weather, systems performance and high volume of boating traffic en-route. Groundhandling with the aux fuel tank and extra gear proved a bit challenging, but the moderate winds allowed for a relatively short run. It was all worth it to experience such an epic flight!
