This March, the town will once again play host to the Magic Land Adventure Sports Festival, a vibrant celebration of all things extreme. A weekend of unforgettable experiences! In the last week of March 2025, the festival will transform the picturesque Glendhu Bay into a hub of excitement. Attendees can expect a jam-packed schedule of exhilarating activities so get involved! On site camping opens from Monday 24th. This year with hot showers to freshen up and look great for the dance floor. • Skydiving: NZPF again play host to In-hops and the giant NZ Flag jump is back along with some brand new surprise action! Thrill-seekers and nature lovers unite for Magic Land Adventure Sports Festival • Speed Flying and Base Jumping: Don’t forget to bring your canopies! Speed Boogie at Mt Caitriana, or Treble Cone shuttle day, where the Southern HG & PG Club will run laps all day for keen pilots to fly NZ’s most scenic flying site. • PG Acrofest: The national aerobatic competition is on again! Talented pilots perform their best aerobatics to impress the judges and battle for the NZ title. • Magic Fest Fly-in: Up to 60 pilots take a heli ride to take-off and prepare for the most stunning flight into the festival!
