36 SKY SAILOR March-April-May | AUTUMN 2026 What are you excited about right now? I’m going to Manilla next week! That’s exciting. Long term, I’m looking forward to the evolution of the sport in Australia. We have some incredible pilots, and if we can improve access, strengthen safety and progression pathways, support juniors, and make flying more afford- able, Australia could genuinely become one of the best places in the world to fly. Personally, I still want to explore more of the world from the air. There are so many launches I’ve only seen online, I want to carve out time to explore these. I’m not getting younger, and keeping this body fit for flying takes effort! For as long as I can, I want to keep chasing that feeling of landing at sunset.
