40 SKY SAILOR March-April-May | AUTUMN 2026 by Tracey Meyer Another successful trip to the Apple Isle with six out of eight days of flying fun with the Taswegians! Day 1, straight off the Spirit of Tasmania, Tracey, Andy and H. drove down to Damian (Shredder) and Angela’s place, grabbed them and went straight to Single Hill. H. was a bit tired due to not sleeping on the boat, so elected not to fly. Andy flew for about 45 minutes, then landed on Seven Mile beach, while Amber also had a great flight. Day 2 and Winton was on! A large grassy hill. Andy and H. took off with ease. Unfortunately, Andy was attacked by eagles and ended up with a torn sail.
