26 SKY SAILOR January | February 2022 February Bright Paragliding Open 5 to 11 February Location: Bright, VIC Sanctions: SAFA AAA, FAI Cat 2 Registration: Via Airtribune Description: Held in the beautiful Victorian Alpine region, the Bright Open 2022 is one of two legs of the Australian Nationals AAA sanc- tioned competition of the 2021-22 season. The Open will consist of one round which will count towards a pilot’s WPRS score. All tasks over the seven days will contribute to the AAA Sanction/ Aussie ladder/Team Selection Ladder. Being AAA rated, this will see 450 points available for the Aussie ladder, however, if Covid 19 restrictions mean that some pilots cannot travel interstate, the event may be downgraded.
