SAFA Skysailor Magazine

4 SKY SAILOR January | February 2022 Another festive season is just about upon us, and it’s a time that traditionally sees much flying activity. This is the second such season we’ve expe- rienced in the era of COVID. Whilst not yet ‘out of the woods’ in health terms, we are in a much better place this year as our national focus shifts to learning to live with the virus. Border issues are still restricting some interstate movement, but where this isn’t the case, many members are taking advantage of the break to visit their favourite sites. We hope the weather gods are kind, and we hope all members get to take to the skies over the holiday period safely. On behalf of our SAFA staff and Board members, I’d like to wish all our members a joyous Christmas and a happy and safe New Year – with lots of flying.
