Forbes Floods and Flatlands 2023 The last few weeks have been extremely trying for many parts of Australia, including all our friends in Forbes and the NSW Central West. The region has experienced devastating flooding with so many stories of heartbreak. If you are looking to give to a flood affected community at this time, the local council (and many others) have partnered with non-profit organisation GIVIT. GIVIT is managing dona- tions and ensures 100% of what is donated goes directly to those in need. We have been keeping a very close eye on the situation with the floods at Forbes, and thankfully the water is receding. Our mid January competition dates have been a godsend for our comp this season. We are all a ‘go go go’ for the Forbes Flatlands 2023. While airfare prices are challenging, we do not expect to see pre-Covid international participation.
