SAFA Skysailor Magazine
5 SUMMER 2025 | December-January-February SKY SAILOR However, when it comes to training, coverage is only in place for activities conducted by SAFA approved schools through the policies they each purchase. We have a new Policy on Flight Training and Insurance that brings some clarity to what this means. We understand this represents a shift in our approach, and we are committed to supporting our members in navigating this change by providing guidance to help ensure compliance and safety. Beyond these achievements, 2024 has been a year of camaraderie, growth, and shared passion. From regional fly-ins and competitions to workshops and social gatherings, the spirit of our sport has been on full display. These events remind us of the joy and inspiration that sports aviation brings to our lives and the bonds that connect us as a community. One further change the new year brings is that SkySailor magazine will be published on a seasonal basis four times a year now, this current issue being the first Summer edition. This change is a result of the recent membership survey we conducted. As we look ahead to 2025, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member of SAFA. Your dedication, enthu- siasm, and commitment are what make our community thrive. To our volunteers, instructors, and club leaders, thank you for your tireless efforts in supporting and guiding our members. Let’s carry this momentum forward into the new year, continuing to soar to new heights while staying grounded in the principles that define us. Wishing you all clear skies. Fly safe.
