Photo: Bruce Wynne CALL FOR ENTRIES: Inaugural Free Flight Film Festival And Photo Competition The Central Coast Sky Surfers club is calling for entries for their inaugural Free Flight Film Festival. Films should range in length from 90 seconds to 20 minutes and tell a human story, be visually impactful and have a people element. (Personal flight recordings won’t be accepted!) The objective is to showcase our sport to the non-flying public – hopefully around Australia. Think of this as the paragliding/hang gliding film equivalent of the Banff Film Festival or Adventure Reels . Film ideas already earmarked include: Flying with disabled people and flying with dog. What’s yours? The final compilation will be available for screenings by SAFA clubs for their members – and if of good quality, will ultimately be available online for the wider public. Running in parallel is a competition for photos to help promote the above. How to enter: Contact secretary@centralcoastskysurfers.com to register your video idea and for upload instructions for judging. Final film submission date: 30 September 2021. Conditions: Judges comprise the committee of the CCSS. Decisions are final. By entering, you agree for the CCSS to show your photo or video publicly and be posted online. Prizes: Offers of prizes for awards are still welcomed.
