The Weightless accepts no compromise in the safety and comfort department despite its only 1.9kg weight! This ultralight but fully featured harness has aerodynamic design, a built-in reserve compartment, interchangeable speed bag and the back protector needs no inflating before flight, along with practical adjustments as well as an ultralight cockpit. All features were tried and tested in the RedBull X-Alps event and adapted to series production. The Weightless backpack is stowed in the protector compartment, and thus becomes part of it. This reduces weight and packed volume. The new Lightpack becomes an integral part of the harness. Available in three sizes for pilots from 155 to 202cm. DLS stands for Durable Lightweight Structure and signals a new development philosophy combining structural innovation with unique materials. The Iota3DLS is an all new design to carry on from the B+ Iota series. It takes some Sigma 11 technology, adds new lightweight design concepts and a new profile to produce a state of the art glider at the top of the B+ category in performance, handling, and safety. The polar curve is incredibly flat for the class, offering outstanding high speed glide with stability. The ease of handling, rear riser steering, and passive and active safety allows the pilot to enjoy the Iota3DLS’ efficient performance for hours even under demanding conditions. The Iota3DLS is a similar weight as previous generation hike & fly gliders of the same size, but offers the durability and lifespan of regular weight gliders – achieved by using a smart mix of fabrics and optimised internal structure. Glider weight starts from as little as 3.75kg. The Iota3DLS comes in five sizes with overlap- ping weight ranges from 60 to 128kg.
