38 SKY SAILOR July | August 2023 Nova Xenon, EN-D two-liner The Xenon (EN/LTF D) is an ultralight two-liner for experienced pilots. Excellent glide performance, simple handling and a high degree of stability guarantee XC miles without the risk of fatigue. The development of the Xenon focused on speed. The profile ensures a high degree of pitch stability even at low angles of attack. In numerous simulations, the ballooning or stress distribution was refined to minimise the deformation of the glider at full speed. The cell openings are designed so internal pressure remains perfect even in accelerated flight. The result is excellent glide performance with exceptionally high stability. Comes in sizes 20 (80-105kg) and 22 (95- 115kg). More details at Fly2Base . Phi Scala 2 Light, EN-C two-liner What are the differences between Scala 1 Light and Scala 2 Light apart from the certification (Scala 1 was EN-D)? Other improved and op- timised parameters include: • • Different airfoils and suspensions • • New sail tension (ballooning) • • The whole rigging is new: enabling bigger sizes and big ears • • New materials (lines, cloth) • • New intake shape and size • • Different rod lengths and locations • • New strap configuration The Scala 2 Light outperforms the Scala (1) X-Alps in every matter – it’s cleaner, faster and more form stable. Give it a try! More informa- tion at Fly2Base . Nova Xenon Phi Scala 2 Light New Products
