The huge stretch of massive dunes to the south of launch creates the perfect conditions for high flight. In summer, a thunderstorm often follows a north-easterly sea-breeze. On other days, scattered showers with gust fronts are possible, as are fast approaching strong wind sea-breeze fronts, so it is important to always be mindful of weather forecasts and watch for changes.
