An all day event, finishing with a sunset BBQ and drinks (gold coin donation, friends and family welcome). If you don’t fly, just come to watch the fun and competition. We are encouraging not only pilots, but family and friends to come and watch and enjoy the day. When? 12 and 13 March 2022, in SE flying conditions with back-up weekend of 19 and 20 March. Where? Stanwell Tops, NSW, organised by the FlyStanwell Club Donate Now Assist the ‘End Polio Now’ campaign and support Ken Hutt’s mission to fly a paraglider off Mt Everest. It is Ken’s dream, that the money raised as part of his adventure will contribute to polio becoming history – perhaps as soon as next year! Your donation (min. $25, no max.) gives you the chance to compete in the fun, spot-landing competition with all proceeds to Rotary’s Everest Assault ‘End Polio Now’ Expedition and flight from the roof of the world. Prizes will be awarded to the pilot from each PG/HG category who lands on or closest to the target. There will be a huge 30m x 1m red arrow laid out on the sand guiding you to the target.
