There were 14 pilots in goal, Olav Opsanger (Norway) with the day win, Attila Bertok second, Ollie Chitty (UK) third and Corinna Schwiegershau- sen (Germany) first woman in. Ollie Chitty reported flying a 30km final from 9000ft! Sport class had two pilots with personal best flights – Magnus Rønningen (Norway) flew 41.6km on a Malibu and placed second for the day, and Akihiro Takeno (Japan) with 35.42km. Richard Hughes joined the comp after missing the first day and won the day in Sport class! Day 3 was set, although with the chance of overdevelopment closing in on us.
