If at some point your pre-flight check routine is interrupted for whatever reason, stop, step away from your gear and start again from the very first step. Do not interrupt other pilots when they are in their pre-flight routine. Either approach them before they commence set-up or wait until their routine is complete. Supervising pilots must not be distracted from their own routine as this may cause a dual failure – failing to spot an error and making one themselves.
