47 November | December 2021 SKY SAILOR Now for a few equipment related reports. AIRS #1411: Wing-tip line over while launching PIC had set up to launch their paraglider at Mystic (VIC). They launched with a trapped tip due to an undetected line over. The pilot was unable to resolve the trapped tip, but able to maintain flying control and navigate the glider to a safe landing. Pilots are reminded of the importance of a proper pre-flight check (including the laying out of the glider). This is especially important if the wing has been bundled at any time during pre-launch preparations. AIRS #1383: Brake line wrap at Stanwell PIC has launched their paraglider from the north launch at Stanwell Park (NSW). PIC con- tinued straight out and continued to get lift up, then let go of the left brake to wiggle into their seat. After letting go, the brake line flapped and completed a half hitch, unbeknown to the PIC. PIC, now comfortable in the seat,
