Ken Hutt, End Polio Now 23rd FAI Hang Gliding Worlds – Krushevo, Macedonia The Australian team placed in fifth place at the recent FAI HG Class 1 Worlds, held in Krushevo from 6 to 19 August 2023. Nine tasks were flown and Alex Ploner (Italy) is the new World champion, followed by fellow Italian Marco Laurenzi in second and Alvaro Figueiredo Sandoli (Brazil) in third. Jon Durand Jr finished as best Australian in 7th place. Full results can be found here . 2023 Spanish Nationals (Pre-Pre-Worlds) The Spanish Nationals finished in Ager, Spain. A fantastic comp with 55 competitors from 13 countries in the Open Class and six com- petitive tasks over seven days. Attila Bertok (Hungary) finished in first Place with 5591 points on his Moyes RX 5, followed by Daniel Martin Mota (Spain) in second place and new Spanish National Champion flying his Moyes RX 3 Pro!
