11 September | October 2024 SKY SAILOR and sunny with much better climbs giving pilots a chance to play in the light lift. The event is always a good chance to catch up with flying friends old and new, and this year was no excep- tion. We descended on the only pub in town on the Saturday night for a meal, and the club organised a camp BBQ the following night, complete with Photos: Dave Moore and Neale Halsall 4 spit roasts over a roaring open fire at our beautiful (and free) group camp spot by the creek just outside of town. If you’re keen to practise your tow launching skills in a safe and friendly environment, then put it in your diary for next year!
