Australia moves into third place after a tricky day. 3 116.4km Windy & fast Jonny leads early; Scott, Jonny and Steve score for the team – Australia drops to 5th after a tough day. 4 91.8km Rough thermals Rory’s heartbreak – third for the day, just missed the win. Jonny and Scott also score. Vic in 13th, but just outside team scoring. Australia moves back to sit in second. 5 116.1km Wild & fast Legend Scott’s perfect 1000-point win. Rory and Jonny also score for the team and Australia holds second convincingly. 6 156.9km Epic finale Task follows the spectacular ridge, nicknamed the ‘Ferrero Rocher’. Rory, Scott and Jonny score. Beneš takes the gold; Aussies clinch team silver overall.
