SAFA Skysailor Magazine
15 SPRING 2025 | September-October-November SKY SAILOR Back on the podium 2025 Silver provided our best result in 20 years, since Gold at home in 2005, followed by Bronze in Mexico in 2015. This result isn’t luck – it’s years of strate- gy, skill, and a team that knows how to fly hard and laugh harder. Onward to 2027 With Rory Duncan still climbing, Scott Barrett still peaking, and Jonny Durand still chasing clouds, plus a generation of other eager and developing pilots, the next Worlds could be even bigger. If Àger taught us anything, it’s this: Team Australia is back – and brought their A-game. each year in Europe, competing in multiple comps. He was proud to join the Australia contingent and compete – 105th overall. Don (Doggy) Cramer was Australia’s first Class 5 pilot in a World championships. Don proudly represented Australia and came 24th overall in Class 5. “The Worlds was a big party with friends you do not see very often. It is really enjoyable to fly with the best pilots in the world” Scott Barrett
