16 SKY SAILOR September-October-November | SPRING 2025 Tour 1 Collected from Munich Airport in one of two nine-seater vans, I met the first batch of pilots, a mixed group of Americans, Canadians and Brits, who knew each other from other similar tours. All were of various ages and with extensive flying experience from around the world – and excited to be there. After settling into our apartments at Zegger, we assembled in the breakfast room and after introductions, commenced by CC White Anticipation mounted as I readied my flying gear for a return to Austria for not just one but three back-to-back 10-day tours with SkyOut Paragliding in the beautiful Stubai valley. My first taste of this location was in 2024, while doing a tour with Roger Stanford and Rohan Taylor (R&R), and I had such a great time that in 2025, being a significant personal year, I wanted the lot!
