Tour 3 Extreme weather hit Europe, fires in France and Greece resulted in snow in the Stubai! A dusting across the mountains during Tour 3 changed conditions from the previous weeks. Instead of flying to the glacier, another highly anticipated opportunity arose – flying Neuschwanstein Castle, Tegelberg. Located on the German edge of the Alps, looking north towards the plain – this place was spectacular. One needs to apply for a ‘Green Card’ in advance of leaving Australia to fly here. The launch, all astro turfed and only 20m from the cable car station, was expected to be intimidating, but due to the awesome forecast reading of R&R, we had a reverse launch breeze coming straight up the face.
