Photos: Heidi Krueger The Paragliding State of Origin is a much- loved fixture on the Aussie flying calendar – part competition, part celebration. Huge thanks to Godfrey Wenness for hosting the event at Mt Borah, a location that beautifully blends mountain and flatland flying. The presentation dinner capped off the final night with fanfare, trophies, and laughter, followed by the traditional bonfire that lit up the mountain sky. In the end, what truly makes this event special is the way the paragliding commu- nity comes together – to learn, compete, and celebrate flying.
