In the space of three years in Türkiye, I had three bingles; two resulted in minor fractures, but the third was life changing. It meant the end of my (second) career in the yachting industry, and my forced relo- cation back to Tassie. Not to mention the disruption to my elderly parents, having their badly injured, middle-aged son living back with them, with no means of income.
