17 AUTUMN 2026 | March-April-May SKY SAILOR Day 5: When the weather has other plans The final task was planned as a 200km triangle, but Forbes had one last surprise in store. A rapidly moving weather front rolled in, bringing widespread shade and a stiff headwind to the first waypoint. Progress was slow, and the task quickly turned into a short marathon. No pilot managed to get far, with Attila taking the day win at just 45km. Most of the field landed between 30 and 40km, making it a low-scoring day with no changes to the overall standings.
