The aircraft was rolled back to its hangar where a thorough inspection revealed no other damage. New wires for both sides were ordered. Airspeed at the time of the flare was above 40kt and well above Vs (28kt). It is sus- pected that a releasing thermal or swirling breeze resulted in a ‘hole’ in the air.
