24 SKY SAILOR January | February 2022 Paragliders put on a show over the skies of regional Victoria in November, representing the sport to thousands of spectators at the seaing-Country exhibition at Front Beach, Back Beach . SkyHigh Paragliding Club supported Front Beach, Back Beach for a real-life artistic display of paragliding to engage pilots and the com- munities they are launching from. The Front Beach, Back Beach event was a huge success with above average attendance at all 15 installations across the Mornington Peninsula over November. The local fauna also came out to support Lisa’s work and was experienced by at least one seal from the beach, the local echidna dropped by along with a variety of sea birds flying alongside the paragliders. “It was clear that the artwork on the wings were created with inspiration of water which was truly in harmony with the natural surrounds when everything aligned weather wise,” Lisa said. Lisa described the experience of seeing her work take flight as “an experience that filled my soul with happiness.”
