9 September | October 2021 SKY SAILOR by Susy Goldner and Sonya Fardell In January this year, Killarney (QLD) and Manilla (NSW) were hosts to the highly successful ‘SeXC Camp’ fly-ins. SeXC Camp was the brainchild of Hammed Malik and Susy Goldner, and not, as the name may suggest, an excuse to wear lingerie whilst flying (a scary thought). When the traditional Australia Day weekend XC Camp, usually held in Manilla, was cancelled by organisers due to Covid challenges, this undaunted, pun-loving pair decided to make something happen, and XC Camp was re-born as SeXC Camp. In the days leading up to the planned Killarney SeXC Camp, registrations ballooned to over 70 and a decision was made to hold two camps, one at Killarney, and one at Manilla.
