Despite the challenging conditions, I’ve been fortunate to enjoy some wonderful tandem flights with friends. There’s something special about sharing the air with someone experiencing their first close encounter with a friendly eagle soaring alongside – these moments remind me why we love this sport. Back on the ground... The SAFA Annual General Meeting was held online in November, and we want to extend our sincere thanks to all members who participated. We were delighted by the exceptional turnout: a record 88 members attended and voted electron- ically, with over one hundred proxy votes received during the submission period. While we celebrated this level of engage- ment, we acknowledge that our systems didn’t perform as smoothly as we’d hoped.
