Their visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss how pilots operate in the area and the importance of pro- tecting environmentally sensitive locations. The conversation was positive and constructive. As pilots, we recognise that cooperation and responsible flying are essential if we want to continue enjoying locations like Brooms Head in the future. There was agreement that working more closely with National Parks would benefit everyone. By understanding which areas are environmentally sensitive, pilots can better plan flights while respecting the surrounding landscape. The social side No flying weekend would be complete without some time to relax once the engines have cooled down.
